Archive for December, 2009

Thanks to everyone for making 2009 an exciting year in both my business and personal life.  I’ve gotten farther in one year than I thought possible and look forward to exceeding expectations again in 2010.  I plan on making 2010 my BEST year to date by working hard and watching my goals come full circle.  My little challenge to everyone out there – make 2010 YOUR best year by being the best you can be!  Ok, ok, I’m done being a motivational speaker. . .have a safe and happy new year!

I’ve known the Richman family all of my life.  Our parents have been friends since before we were born and Katie and I became instant best friends from the moment my family moved across the street from them when I was 5 years old.  Kurt and Mary have been like a second parents to me since then.  My little brother even had a crush on Jill when he was five (ha, I couldn’t resist!)

When I was asked to come to thier home while I was north for the holidays, I instatly got excited.  Little did I know the storm of the year was on it’s way.  Luckily, my dad’s 4×4 truck got me to Cormorant Lake without getting stuck!

Since Katie has been my friend forever, I had to post some photos from when we were growing up.  I think this first one is hilarious!!  Sizing each other up 🙂

Halloween 1991.  I know what you are thinking. . . where did she get that awesome perm?!  And yes, Katie is in there somewhere among that colorful polyester and paint.

Volleyball senior year at Hawley High -2000.

Ok, ok, enough embarrassment for awhile. . .

Here is that wonderful Richman family as they are today!  You gotta love Alex’s missing teeth 🙂

. . . . . 2009? . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2009? . . . . . . . . where did you go?

Yes, it’s that time of the year again.  Time to eat buttery, cheesy potatoes and overly sweet holiday goodies without any guilt.

Just do it. . .it’ll make you smile.

Wow!  I can’t believe what difference a year makes!  It’s all thanks to the awesome people I have had the pleasure of photographing.  Thanks to everyone out there who has supported me in my journey to become a better photographer!

A special thanks goes out to Elizabeth Hoekstra.  That girl racks up referral credit dollars faster than she can spend them!!    (For those who don’t know, for every person referred to me by a past client, I give a $25 print credit if the referral books a session!!)  I very much appreciate all the clients you have sent my way – thanks Elizabeth!!!

There are exciting changes coming for 2010 as I begin putting more energy into growing my photography business!  Again, thanks to EVERYONE reading this for the support.

I hope that everyone has a great holiday season and stay tuned for some exciting news from JenniferA Photography in the 2010!
